Land Purchase process

Step 1: make an appointment

When selecting your house and land package, the first step is to determine what block size will best suit your lifestyle. Depending on your family’s needs, Rawson Homes offer a variety of land options for your dream home. With a wide range of block sizes tailored to suit a range of personal tastes, life stage requirements and streetscapes, we offer nine metre, 11 metre and 13 metre frontages.

Step 2: choose your land

At your appointment come prepared with thefollowing documents:

  • Lot preferences, check out the size guide right
  • Solicitor details
  • Proof of identity for the purpose of contract details (drivers licence and/or passport for each purchaser)

To reserve one of your preferred lots, pay a holding deposit of $1,000. This reserves your allocated lot for a period of two weeks.

Step 3: exchange contracts

You now have two weeks to sign and exchange contracts; this secures the purchase of your new block of land. At the time of exchange you will need to pay 10% of the land price as a deposit.

Step 4: Now you are on the road to building your dream home

We will keep you updated on progress of registration via our News Updates and will notify your Solicitor when your land is registered. You will need to pay the remaining balance of the land price 14 days after we notify your Solicitor that the land is registered.
